That's not great news. For what it is worth I have know a few people who have had these ops. They all bounced back pretty quickly and back on the pies n beers.
Good luck with it.

First 6 weeks are the absolute pits, you can barely wipe your own backside.
Luckily, they harvested the arteries from my forearm, and not my legs, so i could get around, albeit slowly.
I started driving again after a month, slowly, was against doctors orders (they specify 6 weeks minimum but i was the only one with a license at the time)
No bike for 2 months, at all, the position youre in while riding is the EXACT one they want you to avoid.
Make sure you get yourself enrolled in the CAEP (Cardiac Rehab) program in the hospital, they really help.
Its now October, it still hurts sometimes, but I go to the gym 3-5 times a week, walk a minimum of 4k's every night.
Its going to feel like the end of the fucking world for the first couple of days, you have to push yourself through it, get out of the bed, get into a chair within 24 hours, get your feet under your, and make sure youve got a firm pillow to hold against your chest while you cough, and keep that thing nearby for the next 2 months, why? you hold it against your chest when you cough or sneeze, it stops your chest expanding too much, trust me, sneezing still feels bad 7 months later.
Make godamned certain you do the breathing exercises after the surgery, they literally shut down your heart and lungs, you need to blow your lungs back up again, if you dont, you will be in deep, SERIOUS shit.
