What were you doing when you lost yours compared to what he did??
he's been a little bit over a few times, not a lot over once.. and that is the point.. If you go really fast on the road and get caught, you have nobody to blame.. No i'm not saying I've never done it either, if i do it and get caught it's my problem.. and one person i know who lost their licence for doing more than 40kmh over the limit is a pastor!!
What i was trying to say that he's being jumped on for being a little bit over a few times.. which is something everyone has done, just have been lucky enough not to get caught .. and before people start pointing fingers at him, they should have a good think about themselves first.
My fines were in a tricked out RX4, an RX7 and a smoko truck.. guess which vehicle i got the 15kmh fine for??

We have all said we feel sorry for him and that not being able to ride your bike would suck - but the point being made here is that he has broken the law and he got caught.
You can all sit here and bag the cops for not putting him down 1k so he didnt lose his lisence - but he was SPEEDING
AND NO TANYA I HAVE NEVER GOT A SPEEDING FINE EVEN IN MY CAR.
You break the law you got to be prepared to get punished for it

Sensing this is just about dead I'll throw my two bob's worth in.
I'm with Cheeky here, give the bloke a break
Speeding (however you define that) is not in itself dangerous in all circumstances. If it was everyone who rides on a track would be dead. The roadsafe people, the RTA and that ridiculous Scruby bloke (spelling?) would have you believe otherwise though.
Your level of safety is dependant on the speed you are travelling at relative to the conditions, not relative to what the road sign says. Conditions can include, the road, the weather and anything that you can hit. Therefore not everyone who speeds (according to the laws of the land) is an irresponsible maniac who should be locked up.
I ride. I drive and I exceed posted speed limits when I believe that it is safe to do so. I rely on my roadcraft to keep me out of emergency situations and at times I will sit well below posted speed limits eg 60km'h through a busy shopping centre is just way too fast. I would put it to you that 160km/h on the Hume Hwy is a hell of a lot safer than 110km/h given the levels of fatigue and boredom that you have cope with. There was a study done a few years ago which backed this theory up.
If I get fined in these circumstances I don't whinge because I made the decision to exceed the posted limit. If I lost so many points that next time would get me a red card I would religiously obey the posted limits because I need my license ie no license, no job. Again, if I make the decision to do otherwise then it's my problem and I bear the consequences.
Hmmm now I'll go and do the OPH at 70km/h. Woohoo!
