Single Seat Cowl

Postby ZX9R Man » Sun Mar 15, 2015 6:21 am

Does anyone know where I could get one for my E2 ? I have scoured the net and Ebay and haven't come up with much.
Powerbronze make something that's almost a cowl but fits over the original seat. I don't like it.

Maybe someone has a factory type one who'd like to sell ? Colour doesn't matter I'll have it painted.

Cheers.

Hey thanks Mitch. I really don't want to change the entire
rear section. The beauty with the seat cowl is that I can still access the storage compartment which I tend to need occasionally.
Since posting this thread I have managed to find a couple of suppliers but are asking ridiculous money.
I'm hoping to find a second hand one.
Maybe someone has one stashed in a shed that no longer needs it.

I've placed an order from Custom Cowls in the U.K. I am happy with the style of this cowl as opposed the the flat type.

It will come unpainted, so I'll have to have this done.

Does anyone know what colour code the "red" component is on my E2 ? A name perhaps ?
