TY, what a pisser. Hope you pull up OK.

No doubt the knob just didn't check before he decided he wanted to be where you were. You're right putting this up though. The more aware we all are that every other bastard on the road is a blind homicidal maniac the better.

While I'm on a rant, spotted going home a couple of nights ago. Wanker in a 5 series BMW on Woodville Rd talking on his mobile while watching a DVD player in the front of his car. They're out there.
It's really all about standing around drinking Dave's beer.

Bummer Ty. Not the red beast! At least the damage isn't too bad, and you weren't hurt badly, that's the important thing. And, yes, you would've been in huge trouble if you hadn't let us know.

Please go see a doc if you aren't back to 100% tomorrow morning. You don't want to stuff around with things like this, mate, and if you are honestly injured, you don't want to be out of pocket.
Of course, I also know you're a decent, honest bloke and won't create scams that impact us all in the long run

If the bike's not back in time for the usual PITS run, you can either borrow mine (if I've still got study to do) or you can double me, if you still want to come out.

Or you could stay home and pay attention to Vy

GAH.. to cagers and their ability to NOT look at all.

Cold comfort that cagers in the East are as bad as here.

Very glad your okay and ya baby only has scratches, salutes the creators of good bike clothing and thanks him/her for saving our skin, sadly on an ever increasing basis.

Take care out there people.

Sorry to hear TY, get checked by medic even if it doesn't hurt - just in case.

I'm not so sure, Phil... Ty and Dave #3 have been known to boast about the 9 and bag out the 6 a time or two. Ty may not want to debase himself that far...

Of course, the bagging would in no way at all be in response to my taunts about the big slow, sluggish 9's not being able to keep up with the speedy, nimble, pocket-rocket 6. Not at all

Sorry to hear it Tony, hopefully it won't be off the road too long for repairs, sounds like it'll be quick. BTW you got oggys on the 9 ?

Ah ty.... that sucks... As others have said - at least they stopped and you're basically ok. The mighty 9 can be fixed, body parts can be a bit trickier :?

Good luck with the repairs (both bike and body)!

Ouch Ty, hope all concerned get well kwik, the draggins must have been a good investment I wonder if that graze would have been much worse without kevlar ?

Makes me happy to wear my Draggins. 8)

I don't know if the graze would've been worse - or if the kevlar caused the graze ;)
though the draggins have been an excellent investment. I've had them 2.5 years, 3 offs, and not a thing wrong with them.

I shouldn't have a problem with the bike Cath, but thanks for the offer. Gibbo's doing a quote on it today while he does my chain, sprockets and new front tyre. I'll get it back tomorrow morning and then keep it till the assessor wants a look.

And yes Phil, at least he stopped. Even though I initially ripped him a new one I made a point of thanking him for stopping before he left.

Matt, no I don't have oggies. That's part of what's suprised me about how little damage there is. Mind you it was a fairly slow speed.

Thanks again all
ty
