Was between 125 and 130 with the Kerker (and the stock internals ).

Well, it's only the same total advance as stock, the advance curve is different

yeh, was just comparing to the -2 and -4 cuves.

When mine gets its next service the valves need some shims so the cams have to come out, I have thought about putting different ones in but dont want to loose any bottom end or midrange to get top end, I dont use the engine there. Thats whay I was wondering if you could provide a comparison.

I get what you mean but mines headed a bit the other way. Not that it really needs any more

So does the CDI allow you to adjust the advance throughout the rev range?

Did the carbs go on at the same time as everything else? I take it you went from basically a stock bike with a Kerker and jetting, to a 1224, Yosh cams, new exhaust system, carbs and ignition tuner. I bet it feels quite a bit different to ride....... and will surprise a few guys on their sportsbikes.

If you are happy to share, did you deck the head or run a thinner head gasket as well as the high comp pistons, or keep all of that at stock spec? If if you did change heights, do you know what squish and valve clearences you are running? Also, was there any porting of the head, valve's cut, or valve springs and retainers changed while you were at it? If so, was it CNC'ed or done by hand, done locally or sent to the US? Was the block done locally too? I'm curious to know what kind of power and torque increases you can realistically get for each stage of modification as I'd love to go to a 1224 (but with ZZR cams for better bottom end) after I sort the forks and swingarm on mine, but the cost of boring and re-nikasilling the cylinders over here is going to be a big cost factor and I don't know of anyone that is familiar with ZRXs that could CNC port the head without losing the torque.
