What's the best headstem stand to use on these? ie: adequately clears the underside lip of stock pattern front race glass. Or put another way, which ones not to use.

I bought a cheap one from a company called Radum. The used to be near Bankstown airport but I think they've moved.
I had to get an adaptor turned down to suit the ZXR but I still have the drawing if you need the adaptor.

Thanks Jim - I'm also hearing Sharp stands are the best / fit up right away. Where was your race glass from?
Getting out on mine I hope on the 21st or the weekend after for a first run. I bought one of those Aldi stands but it is rubbish - the pick up pins ended up sliding off from the underside of the fork and going up the back of the caliper mount - the only thing holding it all up was that the pins are too long and they ended up inside the discs, I got myself in a right mess. Had to jack up one side gently with the car jack and she's now sitting on car stands, so not sure how I'll get it off them....!!!

I bought my race glass from Racers Edge. It worked out more expensive than others but the quality was fantastic and didn't take hardly any prep to lay down paint!
I've got a Kaneg space saver rear stand with swingarm spools on mine. Used the same for the track bike and it worked fine.
I had a look at the Aldi ones but didn't fancy putting the bike up on it with the ZXR being so heavy.
I have a front race fairing spare but its go the light holes cut out of it.
Any photos of yours?

I got kaneg front and rear for the zx7r. My bike is on them at the moment and it didn't test on the fairing at all. Fits well, great quality, no complaints at all. Order online and they'll be delivered fast. Make sure you get the right size pin for the front to fit the yoke (27mm for the 7r, not sure if the zxr is the same).
You also get a discount as a ksrc member

Thanks Jim and Dutchy. The Aldi stand is ok for the rear, I've got pick up points and the bike is lightened a bit so seems ok.
Jim, a pic of the bike you mean? See if I can upload this properly, been having some probs lately doing it....
