Thought i'd give a progress report on how it's coming along. Motors back in, wiring harness has been cleaned up, water catch tank has been relocated and changed for motion pro item as the old one was in the standard position making it a pain to remove the tail section. Igniter has also been relocated with the water bottle up front.

I've made all new brackets 12 in all. Still trying to relocate the coils from where they had them mounted on the outside of the frame there's a little room were they go originally but i will have to wait until i cover the air box in insulation and maybe i can get them to fit.

Got some other rearsets from england for a $150 and up'd the rear master cylinder to 14mm with a hrc reservoir kit.

starting to come together there hipstir goodwork . what are the centre measurements for your rear sets mounts

Looking good Rob. Have you seen this page about relocating the coils on a 91-95, might be just what you are after.

Thanks Troy, the centre's are 75 mm for the J I think your after 65mm for the H2 going by the centre measurement on my H1. The company was a ebay seller called racesuppliesdirect one word or google them their site is under construction but ebay links will be shown. He was great to deal with as he had no photo of the J rearsets and got it sorted really quick. It may pay to contact him and see what they can do for you. For a $156 + $20 postage I thought they were a ok deal. They have spares at good prices as well.

Thanks Kev, I have thought about it, but as I have that alloy race tank it sits lower in that space & the space between the carbon airbox box and frame is very very tight. Once I make up the tank/seat bracket I'll get a better idear space & lead routing.

I've finally finished measuring the leverage ratios. I had to replace the bearings in the NWS linkage that I found in the UK and it seems to have made a shit load of difference. The NWS linkage is about 10% softer than the standard H linkage and raised the rear by 8mm. The P linkage with H2 dogbones (DB's) has had the opposite affect and is about 3% stiffer, which contradicts what people are saying out there that the P linkage is the same as the NWS. Maybe playing around with different length dogbones will soften it considerably. I tried P dogbones (191mm centres) with the P linkage but it raised the rear wheel by 85mm or if you like, lowered the rear by 85mm, which would have been a waste of time measuring.
Anyway, here are the two graphs I've plotted comparing the leverage ratio with different linkages and dogbones. When I get a chance I'll draw up the linkages to show you the different dimensions. Come to think of it, I probably should have started a new thread for this hey

Hmmm, very interesting Kev that linkage I have performed marginally better than your stock H one in the best position of the 2 you used in the comparison.
I'd be very interested in comparing the J linkage on my bike bike. Might have to hunt around and try to pick one up to do that. Great work Kev love the graphs, hate interpreting numbers.
