05 ZX6R 636 Front Rotors

Postby Caleb636 » Mon Apr 29, 2013 3:33 pm

Hey All

My discs are warped and i don’t want to spend $400 each side for OEM to replace them.

I’m looking at these...

Has anyone used these before? Or can someone recommend me something else that not off the show expensive?

I've used these on a number of bikes and they work well but....to get them to work well they have to be ground and have the buttons tweaked to loosen them off so the rotors float properly. The guys that run the business seem like good guys, provide a good service and they have a machinist that will do the grinding/adjustment at your expense....if you do decide to go with them I would strongly recommend you get them machined. (And don't use EBC HH pads with them either, the rotor material doesn't seem to like them which in my experience caused alot of overheating. Galfer or Ferodo work well.)

They advertise them as a direct swap for the OEM rotors, but you need them machined at your expense for them to fit??!! Shouldn't that be their cost if they don'y fit properly?
I only ask cause I am after some as well for the same bike.
This is my signature and it can say whatever I want.
