Results are scored (after a small bug was sorted out, thanks for nothing motogp.com for changing your results location!!) but I've discovered another small issue with the scoring, I think related to the top two teams (because 1 & 2 were the same). I'll get it sorted by tonight and re-scored appropriately.

Can you / red_dave clarify what the scoring rules are, relating to the top teams?
Road: 2005 ZX10R - not named yet
Road: 2008 Z750 - Kwak
Track: 2006 ZX6R - Yoshi (with a very Genki undertail)

Cath,

Top 2 Team points should be awarded to the top 2 teams on the podium...

For the Qatar race, 5 points should be awarded to Factory Yamaha and 5 points to Factory Repsol Honda.

Is that how it's been calculated D3?

That's how it should be calculated, but I neglected to account to account for situations where pos 1 and 2 were the same team, so I need to fix that tonight.

I think many people who got 30 will be bumped up to 40 points for a perfect round.

I thought so, but thanks for clarifying Dave of much Crimson. I always get confused, if I'm tipping a 1/2 from the same team, whether I need to tip the teams for positions 1 & 2, or the highest two (different) teams. So thanks for the reminder!

(And I just tested it and noticed that you can't tip the same team for top two teams anyway - an elegant solution to my forgetfulness and confusion thanks Dave#3!)
