I that is registered with the 253 there would be minimal in getting it approved for the 308. I doubt even the brakes were different from factory, and if he's doing it up I'd guess it already has hq hubs and discs??? My poo53 had a lot of money spent on it (cams, aftermarket lighter slugs, intake, carby) I never had it on a dyno but I reckon my mates 308 that only had intake and carb work would eat it

You could always "use" the 253's engine number again if you catch my drift once these blocks have the head decked the numbers can be unfortunately lost and a restamp has to be done......

Now with forced induction ....Has ben run but the carby still need's work so the blow of valve is not on yet (see pic) but still make's a big difference....Should be finished in the next couple week's I know my brother on dying to take it for a spin....Will be interested to see how many HP it ad's
