yep poor dan has had a rotten run of luck with pretty serious injuries.

all the best to him for a speedy recovery, i'm sure jamie would rather beat a fully fit dan anyway.

gotta like the guys style - even if he does ride a yammy.

i've been a fan of the stauffer boys since i sw them racing 250 proddies back in the nineties.

Sounds like some pretty serious injuries, I hope they look after him and get it sorted soon.

Good news on Dan Stauffer it seems, from MCNEWS:

# Jun 3 - Dan Stauffer just rang in with another update. It seems the hospital is sick of him already and he is heading home today! He has a couple of weeks rehab to undergo but the fractures are quite minor so recovery should be quick. All going well he is expecting to ride at Winton. Dan wishes to thank everyone for all their kind wishes and offers of support. Dan's employer Jetstar/Qantas has also been, as always, very understanding and he also hopes to be back at work very soon
