Cheers fellas, went to pick it up today but he could not produce the red key so I managed some restraint in the purchase until found .....New ecu is $ 1890 if I lost the only black key....hopefully he can lay his hand on it and I'll be away.

M5 on both of my 12s, as mentioned many times on this forum by many zrx and 12 owners we swear by them.

Ok, got the bike, and a deal on Dunlop sportsmart...$360 pair fitted, so I'm giving them a run...went with a 190/55 rear, keep you posted.

Dunlop Sportsmarts are a great tyre - I have them on the MFP12 at the moment. The 190 rear will sharpen up the steering a bit.
Like all Dunlops - don't give them a flogging in the first couple of minutes. They need to get a bit of heat in them first.....

Probably the pick of the bunch right now. Good choice, I forgot about them, a friend was involved in the testing of them at the creek, he was doing sub 1.39s on a road blade with them!!!

Took the big girl for a run through the hills on Wednesday, noticed a squirrelly feeling from the rear just after tipping in? was on it but nothing crazy, stopped after a while and checked tyres, scuffed all the way to the edge, hot and tacky, is this a normal feeling from the 12 with a 190/55 fitted ?

Advancetown, Hinze sweepers?
Yep, 12's do give that feeling IMO, still havnt quite worked out what is causing it (I have a theory) , I have never had a bad outcome on any tyre unless it was the dreaded oem 2004 Dunflop D208 rear or any Michelin

, if it is the same thing I experienced on all the 12R's I have owned it feels like at 2/3rds lean it squirms just a tiny bit before full tilt and can be off putting but I just gas it and it always behaves

Yep, advancetown rd and 2/3rds lean is right on the money, do they do it with a 200 on the rear ?

Perfect 12R territory that road
Always liked the run to Rosins lookout, good place to stop and watch people jumping off.
Haven't had a 200 on since 2005 but I think they did a little.
