Sydney... what a shithole...
come thru yesterday... what is wrong with the roads!!!! fark allmost most need a 4 by 4 trailer, to get thru the potholes

and the hume is shit too. O and better signage would be nice, and getting lost in morn peak hour didnt help

than got a bit lost trying to find lemmon tree passage(brother lives there)
so i dont expect the road up to tenterfield to be any good either. tho one thing surprised me... sydney drivers were a lot more polite than im used too. either that, or they saw the vic plates, with a driver with no idea where the fark he was going and gave me a wide berth

After driving through parts of the UK and Europe and diff parts of Oz, the signage in Sydney has to be the worst. I live here and get frustrated trying to find somewhere new. Its shithouse! The pothole are getting worse, roads authority and councils dont give a rats anymore. Not to mention the budget cuts everywhere
On the plus side we have the Creek, plenty of KFC, beaches and riots

In Thailand they have a minute count down before the lights change -
They have just installed one near the SA casino for pedestrians
Half of em over here cant read, what the hell makes them think they can count

Bloody Sydney cage drivers..... Drivin home, 4 cycl $hitbox merges strait across at me, full rear wheel lockup, I keep it upright and hit the horn, he merges and carries on.
The kharnt had auto merge
What really $hit me is the chewed out spot on my rear tyre, and the disregard for our safety.
Rant... Rant

FUCKING CYCLISTS!! yeah yeah i know..but here's what really pisses me off with these imbeciles..
It's bad enough sharing the road with these lycra latte legends..but i walk along a flat pathway along the beach..with manicured grass either side..Im fucking amazed that these idiots on mountain bikes constantly ring their bells at you & expect you to move out of the way..Heres a bit of a heads up...it's a fucking MOUNTAIN BIKE dickheads..it's designed to go up & down mountains for fuck sake. going a little bit wide onto the grass is hardly going to present any significant problems for it. rant rant etc.

Having a couple of beers this arvo listening to "The Radiators", I wish I was 17 again.....
I thought to myself, whatever happened to the "Lucky Country". 30 years ago we worked 40 hour weeks in 5 days, except for the unfortunate few that had to do overtime on Thursday night or Saturday morning, oh... and the "wogs" (Greeks and Italians) that we eventually educated to our way of life. We had an abundance of spare time for family and friends. Now we come home after a long shift, just to organise our shit for work again the next day. Everyone seems to be working 60 or 80 hours a week over 7 days..........
Also Councils were flushed with money, they owned their own Tips (waste recycling centres for Gen Y) their own Garbage Trucks, which carried 3 or 4 workers, they had their own latest model Tractors, Graders, Mowers, Excavators, Bobcats and other Plant and equipment. They had Parks and Gardens depts, Maintenance depts, etc, etc, not to mention more staff than they had shovels to lean on. And Council rates were relatively affordable, considering the number of rate payers on their quarter acre blocks. Nowadays Councils don't own anything, their areas have doubled in population with the dog box blocks people are forced to buy, and they keep putting the rates up saying they are struggling to maintain their area on the rates they receive..... It just doesn't add up to me..... What happened....
Rant over.....
