Has anyone ever done any sleep walking?
Ive had my usual shift times varied slightly and Ive started doing weird stuff

Had a partner who used to pee in the wardrobe sleep walking mainly when he was pissed... He never believed me until i started putting just his clothes in there.. for some reason he stopped and also learnt how to use the washing machine 8) ...

When the normal routine is broken as far as sleep goes you are naturaly more tired than usual and sometimes the brain has a hard time adjusting between which is awake and which is sleep. Consequently sleep walking. Your mind will adjust to it as time passes. Excessive drinking will make it worse.
It usually only happens to those who are feeble minded or have sexual desires for sheep. LOL
Cheers!

You need to completely adjust your body clock to the new shift hours. Sleep walking in part is due to sleep deprivation, I would suggest your shift change has altered your body clock slightly and the amount you are sleeping.

There are drugs you can take if you are really concerned, however as oldfella has suggested it should fix itself. It is important thought to try and do the same things (wash, eat, watch tv etc) at the same time each day so that your body is in sync.

Plenty of professional doctors who should be able to help if it becomes a big problem and you do things that could be dangerous like walking in the street or doing the cooking, driving whilst sleep walking. Whilst these are the extremes you are already doing household chores. Only a problem if it escalates.

Oh and don't do what my mate did when we had boys weekend away in a hotel, decided to go a for a little sleep walk (he does it occasionally) in the elevator and was woken when when the lift went "bing" on arriving at it's destination, just happened to be the foyer. This would not have been a big problem except he was in his undies and there were a few people in the foyer and he didn't have a key to get back up!

Kind of like when I was on a binge some years back and woke up in a motel in Des Moine, Iowa, (About 1200 miles from Salt lake). I was alone and had no idea how I got there. I had to call the bank that handles my credit card to trace my expenses. I had flown from Salt Lake and had been there about a week??????? Kind of exiting. I had a hard time explaining that to my second wife. Cheers!!

Because the stupid drink walkers ad in SA tells me I don't!
They say "unlike sleep walkers, drink walkers don't know they are doing it"........bunch of wankers

So intelligent in fact that their "Creeper's" (embarrasing I know  ) Ad shows a car running a red light and hitting two pedestrians......
what the fuck has that got to do with speeding? :?

doing anything sleeping means your brain is still active when it shouldn't be. You must have a seriously clean house... Maybe you currently feel your life isn't in order? sure the cleaning isn't a dream?

i used to seep walk as a child... and quite often urinated on the hallway walls... (apparently left went to toilet... right didnt).

as i got older i moved onto talking in my sleep... full on conversations whether they be over the phone or in person.

these days i try and lock myself in the bed with my head under the pillow just incase i say/do something that could get me in trouble. I'm sure the past will end up catching up with me, as one day the sleep talking will bring it out,

Well I generally do 2 days then 2 nights. 7am to 7pm then 7pm to 7am.
It got changed for one set of night shifts to 2pm to 2am. I hadnt sleep walked for a while before the other night.
I went to bed at 3am and woke up at 4:30am holding an old tv. My partner asked me what I was doing and I told her "Im moving this like you asked me to".
The times before that I was on shorter shifts with varying times and had a lot on my mind. Id woken up standing in the middle of the lounge room and all of the bed clothes were stuffed in a corner.
I think it might be the varying shift times that did it.
Oh and Ive always been a sleep talker.
