Hey guys,
My shift linkage bolt that connects the linkage to the rear set sheared off today on the way to uni. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement bolt quick?
Bike is an 05 ZX-6R.
Heres a Picture if it helps. Thanks

Where out west are you ?
Kelens at Penrith will be able to supply a new one.
Metropolitan Spares (wreckers) at Silverwater should have a 2 hand one..cheaper..
Is it just a bolt you're after, or is it the eyelet that screws into the shiftrod..?
Should be a standard type part so other models may fit.
I'll have a look through my spares bucket tonight.I've put rearsets on mine but may need 1 for a spare if a mishap were to happen at the track..If there's a couple in the bucket you're welcome one.

Well the bolt that goes through the shift lever at the pivot point sheared off at the thread, so everything is fine except I have to get the remaining bolt out of the rear set and just replace the bolt... hopefully.
I will give metro spares a ring and if they don't have it I guess Ill talk to someone kelens. Thanks Maddog.
Also anyone have pointers for removing the sheared off bolt?

An "easy out" will do it,
Bunnings may have em, but a good engineering shop will for sure, something like Glenwoods or Buttsworth or any AIS shop etc...
Thats my tip. Good luck.

An "easy out" will definately get it out as Chitchats has recommended..
If you are going to use the wreckers option just tell em your'e after the shiftrod aswell...Wouldn't think it would cost too much extra.
Easy outs are a handy thing to have in the toolbox though....(I should really get some instead of borrowing them all the time

)

If you can get a left hand thread drill bit as well it's handy .... you may find in drilling the hole for the easy out you actually loosen the bolt with the drill bit
obviously only use a drill you can reverse the direction of
