if you go back in and edit your first post, I think you can change the heading in there ? The heading will change in the forum section, but all the subsequent posts will still have :Re: The dunger: as their title....

Just wondering when repainting engine cases, what paint has anyone used and how good were the results?

PJ1 Satin Black gets a good rap, but I am not sure where to source it. Normally I just use whatever hi-temp engine enamel in glass black that I can find at Supercrap. These generally work really well - not 100% original but unless you want a concourse restoration its not an issue.

on a side note, what's it cost to rego a beer fridge nowadays

I reckon the number plate would be worth more than the fridge

been a bit busy lately but here my efforts with the sump. after degreasing, sanding, etch coating i hit it with some VHT case paint. Not getting paid for the plug but after sitting the paintcan in some warm water it flowed easily and gave a reasonably good result.

just need to get a pic of that fridge. Just noticed that the other fridge is an aluminium body model.
