Salute from Serbia!

Thu Jan 12, 2012 3:06 am

Hello everyone!
I'm Marko, from Serbia. I'm racer in Serbian Vintage motorcycle championship, and a proud owner of 1984 GPZ750.

A few photos of mine bike, and few others from our races!

So Marko, what have you planned this year for your racing? How many meetings? which championships? How did you go last year? Are you any good? How many crashes have you had? :D

For years, i raced two strokers. Last one was Jawa 559.

We are all fans of classic bikes, so i guess you won't be mad of me for presenting my first racing bike. 1968 Jawa 559.
250cm3, two stroke.

In the beginning it looked like this:

From the major work, i would highlight:
-Remade owerflow canals
-Cylinder bored to 4th special
-On cnc boring machine made excenter for piston rod in order to get higher compression ratio.
-4mm bigger carb. (30mm instead of Jikov 26mm)
-Custom made exhaust specially calculated.
-From 6volts system, transfered to 12v.
-Removed dinamo, so it is "power loss system", driven only on power of acc.
-3 models of rear and front sprockets, changed from race to race
-Front fork from ČZ 477
-Rear fork from 175 Totica Jawa (Needed to cut the frame a bit to fit)

I was champion with it in 2009 and 2010. It is Class B (Until 1967, 2stroke 250, 4stroke 500cm3, drum brakes).

For this year, due to the catastrofic financial state, i'll just maybe drive a race or two, on some club bike. (Bonneville T120, or Z1000J).

Few pictures from our Kwaka.
