re: Premium? Unleaded? Both? Neither?

But wouldn't the detonations be timed by the hysteresis loop of the ignition circuit? If that went out of phase you'd have uncontrolled ultrasonic vibrations in your warp core, and before you know it you'd have breaches in the plasma conduits everywhere. And of course you know what happens then...

For the life of me I cannot notice any difference in using whatever fuel is in the bowser I happen to pull up to at the time. Obviously the Zephyr has a low compression engine and will run happily on anything (except kerosene). I too am of the understanding that the lowest RON fuel you can run without Detonation / pinging / self destructing will make the most power, but damn it must be a small difference. OK steve, how but some back to back tests on that Dyno rig of yours??? The 7 has a High Comp engine so will be run on premium only.

Jailbird dude from Simpsons voice: She Runs on Premium dude, PREMIUUUUUUUUUUUUM!!!

Depends on the bikey.

The GPX250 in it's stock tune hates premium, so regular is the way to go. Premium gives it issues starting, stalling, using more fuel, etc. Not good. :P
