After a decent mechanic

Postby psycho 636 » Mon Aug 08, 2011 2:27 pm

Hey everyone as the title suggests I'm after a decent mechanic in the penrith area. I am just after having my 2005 636 serviced as for the past good part of 18 months it has barely been ridden due to me having shoulder problems. I just want to have a basic service done to the bike and it given the once over to make sure there are no major problems with the bike. The bike itself has roughly 20,000 kms on it. If anyone could help me out it would be great.

If you need OEM stuff and you don't want to travel, you have the best Kwaka Dealer in Sydney on your doorstep... Kelens in York Rd Penriff... They are great people, family business, and you won't be dissapointed with thier work or their prices....

But if you don't mind the travel to Castle Hill, Glenn at Allfixed is the man. You won't beat his price and workmanship...

i have used mick dyers for servicing, only takes cash though. coreen ave penrith. last time it was $450 incl parts for a major service, chassis , throttle bodies, chain , oil, filter, plugs , cables , ect. also if you have a problem with your bike they will check it out instantly, unlike some other service shops.

Glen's Da Man,

Great honest and proffessional also you know he is the one working on your bike not some young apprentice that is just learning whilst your still getting charged full tilt.

Mark give Glenn a call there is a local guy that he uses to get blue slips, I'm sure he can point you in the right direction.

+1,000,000 on Kelens and Mick Dyers, both in Penrith, if you live in Penrith why not support the locals they live and spend their money here too. Neville,Brendan,Len and Christine have been running/owning Kelens for the last 100 years, they have forgotten more about Kwakas then anyone in Sydney AND Michael Dyer, well he's been around longer than Kelens, he loves old and new bikes, even works on BMWs poor sap, but when you speak to Mick you speak to the guy running the shop and fixing the bikes, cant go wrong with either.
