Tyres for thin rims?

Postby timmyrocks » Sun Jul 17, 2011 6:39 pm

Hey guys I'm looking for some tyres to suit some rims off a 250.
Standard sizes are 110/70-17 and 140/70-17 although there will be plenty of room to fit a 150 rear

Cheers
anyone can go fast in a straight line,,,,

For older bikes with somewhat "skinny" tires I like the Dunlop 501 GT.

Also have had good luck with Avon Roadrunners.

Just don't go the m3's. I just couldn't trust them on full lean.

My rear wheel is 4.25 inch wide.
I have a 150 pilot race on there. But they don't exist anymore. I will be going for a 150 or 160 of whatever is sticky next time.
