Whats actually wrong with the clutch? Have you had the thing out yet? What sort of oil are you useing with it?

I supose all these questions will be answered when the dealer pulls it out.

the clutch plates were worn to lowest specifications... and then slipping.
The oil is motul 4t 15w40 as per kawasaki put in everytime they service it.

OK Guys n gals. Hopefully this should be the end to the saga with my bike.
Broad Torque Kawasaki is Honouring the warranty regardless of if the warranty was "nearly out" and that the clutch is a wear n tear item. Straight from Paul the service manager today was "It has to be a faulty clutch to only get 12000kms out of it. We will inspect and notify kawasaki and get the bits in to fix it".

So my faith is restore in kawasaki.... well it will be if it doesnt happen again in 12000kms and i get 90000kms out of my clutch.
This matter with Parramatta Kawasaki not honouring my warranty when another dealer did will be taken further with Wayne and hopefully he can try and instil the bit where "you help the customer out" and not give them the cold shoulder. Like i have said before i wont go to them again for servicing, parts or apparell.... once bitten, twice shy.

Latest message is good to hear Chris, glad you found someone willing to help.

Do they have much in the way of accessories on hand ? I'm after a new helmet and these guys sound like they should be supported.

To be honest i didnt really get to have a good look at the shop as it was closing time when i took my bike there. But i did notice they had a lovely looking zx10 there though as a lovely accessory. :D
I will have a look and will get back to you on what they can and cant do. It is a small shop compared to Parramatta but so far the service is great.
I guess if you want it they can get it in policy applies

Well i picked her up yesterday with the new clutch n all. They replaced
5 clutch springs
9 steel plates
10 Friction Plates
1 cover gasket.

They said they probably could of got away with just replacing the 10 friction plates and springs but changed the steel plates too just to be sure.
He said they noticed that the clutch was TOO clean after parra cleaned them and said they were dry in some of the plates (not good on a wet clutch).
But all in all they fixed it and they will get my business in future.
Ok well the shop has the usual Kwakka merchandise, jackets etc. Helmets, boots, oils etc. not sure on anything else cause i was too excited to get my bike back.

Good stuff mate. Glad it all worked out in the end. Unfortaneately sometimes you need to be persistant with stuff to get a good, end result. To many people just let stuff slide and pay for it themselves, because it's too hard.
Not me mate, oh no. When i don't get what's right, i send Sharon in to get them. She wins 99.9% of the time too. 8)

Most of these places your dealing with blokes and blokes know, you can't argue with a women.

Edit: We still try though and realise... DOH, that's right, what was i thinking.

Well done and that dealer who fixed it for you should be supported for sure. Seems the bigger the shop the worse they are and they may have lost quite a few customers from here too. Good ole word of mouth 8) .
