Ok
heres some photos.
Not much of an update.
Bought an exhaust hanger and its in the mail
Dropped the oil and changed filter.
Waiting on the raceglass to be painted and then ill probably see wetty for
some gpra11s.
Still waiting on my sweet sweet carbon fibre air intakes to arrive.
Ill need to hack up the underseat section once I get the race ducktail.
From the photos can anyone see anything ive missed? (not the red frame phil)

Are you goingto get rid of little things, like horn/blinkers switch and looms?
Is it worth chopping the rear subframe?
Thu May 26, 2011 8:24 pm
Im keeping it all relatively simple.
One day the frame might get powdercoated black.
and with the subframe, its attached to the rest of the frame.
the zx7 tracky had a subframe that unbolted from the frame, and a 2 peice undertail.
zx9rs seem to be all about the one peice.

dropped it out at all fixed today.
Still not sure whether to go slicks or get some 003s off rocky mountain
any suggestions?

Gotta say the 003s have been good on my 9 track bike from the looks of them 4 track days for the rear, more for the front.
Did broadford last week in really cold temp and they never moved.

the carbon ram air tubes were a pain to fit, so the standard ones
are on it.
All I need now is some allfixed stickers and my dunlop q2's to arrive and itll be ready to go.

Dude, should paint the tank black, then silver and red stickers, and strip the paint off the wheels with paint stripper, very easy to do

Been seeing it at Allfixed this week, looks good mate. You just missed my bike in the photos
Fri Jun 10, 2011 12:31 pm
yeah, I was thinking a black tank. maybe later.

Ummm about that ... seems allot of bike shops wont fit their tyres..... main reason is lack of insurance....
You are the importer of the tyres & this creates a problem with insurance as you don't have it!... well the proper insurance anyway.
Not to mention the fact that this is taking business away from local shops & local suppliers..... you may think you are clever & can score a bargain
but there are long term ramifications to consider with your bargain purchase

really? how do they know where ya got them from though??
Fri Jun 10, 2011 4:19 pm
funny thing,
My mate went to try on some (push) bike shoes the other day.
The bike shop wanted him to put a non refundable $50 before he tried them on.
Too many people are trying them on then ordering off the internet for half the price.
needless to say he walked out
