Huge congrats to those who have managed to kick the beautiful, dirty little things. Today is my seventh day without a smoke... I would love to have one, even just a little drag, but am holding out. I am on the Champix which is just fucking brilliant, about the second day of taking them I went from having around 15 a day to 2 - 3. But those 2 -3, I am really missing them right now. Anyway. Motivator - I want a ZX6R AND a ZX10R in my garage...

Everywhere I go now I seem to be the only smoker these days.

I've been off them for about a week now. Again. Last time I lasted about 18 months (after approx 22 years on them), hopefully this time will be permanent. Had help from the leftovers of the Champix I was on the first time, so things are going pretty well at the moment.

Well done guys. It's hard to quit. You really want to do it for yourself and not others for starters. Problem is you really enjoy doing it.
I tried quiting several times. I did it for 6 months, then drove toDarwinn and on road trip started up again. Many years later I had a little scare. It was nothing at all, but made me think that I really should give up. Went and saw doctor who put me on a drug. They stop the impulse to smoke in your head. Worked like a charm. Should of done it earlier. Has been 2 years and 1/2 years now. And no going back.

Congrats.
I stopped about 13 years ago now and still get the odd craving for them but for the most part i hate the smell of them lol.
Keep it up.

They work good,i found i smoked twice as many in the 2 weeks prior to stopping i dont know if it was the champix or the thought of giving up.Also found i had weird dreams every night but that was enjoyable once use to them.People also recon they got sick in the guts from them but i found having food fixed that problem, keep with the tablets they work great if you overcome the side affects

good luck
