That was last years prices... can not be any more than $80-90 for whole weekend...
Oh and as far as grog is concerned... I have never been checked tho it would be wise to hide it if you take in copious amounts... no glass, cans only.. you can buy grog at barish prices from general store within Highside campground...

Mick is that the Camp grounds that has the Shearing shed converted into a bar n meal serverry n a big Titan shed thing that they had a giant screen in n a DJ ?. If so we stayed there last year in their Permunent tents. There was parking on the Concrte tennis court for our scoots n a lot of tents/campers closer to the back fence.
cheers Brett

Thanx for the response Mick, our plan is to take clothes, sleeping bags, and a 2x man tent to share. We'll be riding from Sydney to GP and have taken from 11th to 22nd off work, so that we can check out Great Ocean Rd after GP...
Highside camping sounds the gun.... I'll stay tuned in, and wait to see what Team Kwakka are doing before booking our accom.
Was also think'n bout doing the Barry Sheene memorial ride - but once again have not been able to find any information bout it?? Anyone done this ride before? I know a lot of guys got booked last year (even whilst under police escort - Doh!), but I believe fines were revoked.
Thanx again all, for the insight!!
Cheers

Will probably drive down in the Kombi, there will be seats available and it sleeps a few if ya like being cozy. If anyone has a bike trailer the Kombi also has a towbar

Highside looks good, just gotta work out what day I'm travelling. Will probably get a 3 day passand leave Melb early Friday morning.

Tape,
Are you able to bring cars to Highside ? If so, I have a stand-alone shower tent and an electric shower which you are welcome to share (one at a time you dirty bastards, get your minds out of the gutter) - just warm up some water on the stove and enjoy a nice, warm, private shower.
