Hi guys, just joined the forum, from adelaide, been riding dirt bikes since young but booked in to get my bike license in May so im keeping an eye out for any ZXR250's or ZZR's for my first road ride, not looking at spending too much because i will be upgrading when i get my full license.

Thnks for the welcomes, im still deciding whether to go a cheaper first bike then upgrade or go a newer zxr250 and spend a bit more on my first bike? still undecided im leaning towards a cheaper first bike though.

If i had my time over again i would buy a cheaper (reliable) first bike, to build skills, make mistakes, cheaper for parts and easy to general service yourself.. then when your ready, legal and confident upgrade to something a little more powerful and pretty
Look forward to meeing you on the road... or at one the social shin digs..
Friday night drinks or Sunday coffee catch up..

if yer after cheap n realiable n not gonna cost the earth if u have a whoopsie, a gpx or zzr 250 should fit ya needs.. also keep an eye out for a reasonably priced ER5.. they have a nice habit of being able to fall over without breaking anything
