The reason i joined this forum is pretty simple but if the atmosphere is right i will be around for the long haul, i have a 1990 ZXR250, and its a piece of shit, every single bike shop that i call tells me that they wont even take the time to look at my motorbike to get it running properly.
Now, i am honestly here to get some help, because i have decided that i want to keep my bike and i want to have it running and i am not going to palm off a bike with so many problems to some poor L plater that is going to end up getting himself killed in my place.
Well thats a little about me, why i joined, any questions and id be happy to answer them, just thought id start with an intro.
hey mate i know how you feel, i've been having the same issue with a lot of bike shops except my bike is a stunning example of a 96 zx7-r and its not an import! to date i've spent $7000 on fixing and mods, + the $3000 that i paid for it. just a few little gremlins to sought out, and its all good. i've been told by friends and mechanics its a money trap, just get rid of it. but i'm a big believer in "what goes around comes around" so to sell it to some poor chap with problems is not an option. anyway good luck wih the rebuild hope it all works out, p.s. check out the pics in the show off your ride section under "96 ZX7R STILL GOING STRONG"
