OEM exhausts for a H2 ???
good luck mate. If you want a set of chambers, these are much easier to locate.
There is a great website for triples -
herethey have heaps of links and parts suppliers. Also - the rims are the same as Z1, the front hub (6-bolter) is the same as a Z1, and the rear drum-brake hub is the same size as all drum-braked Z900 models. If I were you, it would be a lot easier (but still difficult) to track down a Z1 front wheel, and a rear wheel off any of the 72-76 models. Looking for original H2 rims is just an exercise in pain ( although you could get real lucky and jag a set tomorrow.)

Not sure if the H1 rear wheel was the same but I have a spare rear here in Perth, will need to check part numbers though.

I'm pretty sure the H1 used a slightly smaller diameter rear hub/brake assembly ? worth checking though, as parts for these old 70's stinkwheels are getting thin on the ground (at least in Oz, and *definitely* in WA !

)

I would love to get one of each of those - a 400 just for riding on the weekends - this is the *pick* of the bunch when it comes to triples...........and a 350, for P4 racing. The 350 was rated at 45hp, the 400 only put out 42hp !
The thought of a Period 4 350/3 on methanol, gives me a tent in the pants.

HA!
when I picked up my H1, the guy had a 350 and 400 but the 400 was in a poor state and he didn't want to sell the 350, there is a guy at historics running a very nice H1 with stingers only , sounds fantastic but probably louder than the 102DB limit

From what I can gather historic bike dont have a noise limit.

according to the GCRs they do unless I have read them wrong.
Sat Apr 16, 2011 9:07 pm
they definitely have a noise limit 16.3.0.1 Noise emissions must not exceed
102dB(A) unless a lower limit is provided
for in the SR or by the circuit hire
agreement

Guys thanks heaps for the info now after considering the cost i will keep the bike less standard
What's the thoughts on Reed Valves, as id like to try to get power on earlier, should make the bike a touch easier to handle
Also does anyone out there know if the gear linkages and kick boss are inter changeble with the H2A with the eg 500s
Also after a fuel cap

there are heaps of reed-valve conversions out there mate.
Have a look at this site -
Kawasaki Triples WorldwideThere are lots of punters there who machine the shit out of the back of their barrels, and weld in reed-valve mounts. They make a huge difference, as you can get inlet timing of 360deg with these !!

- heaps more grunt down low, you can run big carbs easily.....
Gear linkage might be the same, but pretty sure the kickstarter boss on the 750 is larger in diameter than the 500 boss......don't have a 500 motor here to compare unfortunately....
