Quick advice before I purchase some new pads for the zed.
I'm looking at ABB Double HH, anyone used these before? or is EBC the go for the extra money?

What's the price difference? I can't speak about AAB, but i've never had a problem with EBC as long as the calipers were in good shape & the pads were installed correctly.

it's not heaps but noticable, about 30-40 bucks difference.
just wondering if all double HH pads are the same...

Used EBC and SBS both seem good...... liked the stock front pads more than the SBS tho'

Thanks for the feedback, might spend the extra dollars on the EBC's

I've heard good things about Vesrah, and have ordered a set for my ZXR. Will let you know how they go in a few week's time

Often the stock pads are the best. Many models over the years of racing have ended with the A graders mostly using stock pads. They also tend not to exacerbate early warping or dishing of the rotors. But, why worry, just buy the cheapest mate, your never gunna overheat them on your morning commute.....

yep...designed for the discs & the difference in price is negated by the difference in longevity too

Cheers Marty,
You know by now I couldn't ride out of sight on a dark night even when in the hills never mind on my morning commute, so overheating won't be an issue. I'll whack a pair of these ABB ones in and if they're no good I'll replace them with OEM ones when they wear out.

i loved the stock pads on the 10.
when they wore out i was sad.
But i was given a set of EBC extreme Pro pads from a site sponsor, and goddam they rock my world
not sure if they would be a great road pad, but they dont require to be warm to work like some race pads

Lucky to get much more than one race meet out of the bug OEM pads. Great pad really happy with them but for the same price I could get the ebc extreme pro pads and they are noticablably better.
