Looks like we've finally got a motor for the ZX6.
From Ebay in the US USD985 plus 380 airfreight, lands it here for about $1400 Aussie shekels, so all up not too bad compared to the two local prices of $2800 plus freight from perth and $3000 exchange from Vic.
Freight is massively varied depending on who you buy from. One guy wanted $800 airfreight and $400 sea freight so I'm hoping $380 for Airfreight isn't on a 1914 Tiger Moth which will take two months to get here.
I'm getting it shipped direct to Glen at Allfixed who'll check out the top end, bung it in and get it running for us so hopefully in the not too distant future the 6 will be back on the track (and I can get exclusive use of the Gumby again)

Woohoo, where from. Do they have a 10t motor.
I have also been quoted 3000k exchange from vic. Ha what a joke.
Finding it hard to find a US engine that has reseanable shipping though.

His Ebay name is highrush416. Must be a wrecker.
Yeah all of the freight costs have been $800 air and $500 sea.
I'm still worried he's screwed the freight up because it seems cheap but who knows.
