10,000rpm would still be faster than the 12 ever was :)

Watie I will do a comparrison for you but the 12R IMO is still not dead, and you may not like it ;)

I agree the 10R is faster, seriously faster around the bends but remeber this is what it was built for, the 12 and 14 are built for high speed corners and straights which they both do better than almost anything.

Peak yes, but where is this torque they speak of? You know the stuff you use out on the realworld road when ya not going flat out?
Must be at 10105 rpm because my seat dyno hasnt felt anything like the linear 12R feels like in this department, I suppose it isnt far off it to be fair and coming from a 12 to a 10 it could seem that way..

Now handling and brakes and twisty fun factor, no comparrison

Might need to drop a tooth in the front to remedy the "track" gearing for road riding Jonno?
Made a huge difference to my 6 :kuda:

Compared to road bikes like the 12 and 14, no matter how much manufacturers talk about torque on bikes like the 10 they're always going to be designing and tuning them for smooth delivery of top end power and close gearing ratios, after all it's a racebike with a numberplate 8)
