Hey guys
I just wanted to know if anyone here has ever bought or used an Rjays Helmet?
I have a Shoei and a nolan Both of which are getting a little old maybe 5 years (nolan) and 4 years shoei
I know helmet technology has been getting better... and the old your head = $$ therefore spend $$$ on helmet!

i have used the past 3 models of Rjays helmets and they r very comfortable... as for their safety rating i wouldnt have a clue as they r not listed on any helmet website for safety.
BUT i went the extra 2 miles n bought a shoei tz-x and cannot complain... i love it!
Goodluck mate!

Considering RJ's make leathers..... or thats what they started out doing, they are probably just rebranding another manufacturers lid. To be honest they are a cheap lid in all respects, Dare say I would prefer to throw my hard earned cash at a reputable brand with the comfort of knowing what I am paying for will pass any standards test with flying colours.

And so are the really cheep sub $100 lids you can get (standards are just that... a bench mark & all they have to do is pass) ........ have a good look at the quality, & build closely, try on a heap of different ones including the ones you cant afford so you can make comparisons. Even see if they will let you test ride with the lid..... its the best way to get a feel for what will be a long term investment.

I have purchased many Rjays products in my short riding life, & each one of them (from gloves to boots to rear stands) has failed miserably in a short space of time.
Personally, I wouldn't be trusting my head in their helmets based on overall quality control. Nor will I be purchasing anything Rjays ever again.
You get what you pay for, & there are some good deals on good brand/quality products all the time.

Since you only get one head (sort of) and you can't replace it or do without it I'm spending big $$$ in helmets... I much rather risk not having a stupid AS sticker on it than not having a decent helmet on my head.
STG has the Shark RSR2 for 249 atm, top helmet IMO! Second to none really... And I have the top shelf helmets of 3 of the best known manufacturers, so I should know.
