I'm five foot fuk all  & on the 05 Demo i rode last week, in normal riding position I couldnt see the top of the Tach & if i laid down on the tank .... i think it would be very comfy place for a nana nap  . Damn horny bike damn pity about the underseat hot spot.
As for the drag co effecient bit its been an interesting read, good stuff. But Frozzie i think you would of done better saying it was slipprier then other screens (added peformance benefits inuenedo n all) then specifing added top end kph.
I've seen blokes buy full exhaust systems for about similar percentages of performance. After all a better drag co effecient has advantages as soon as you start moving not only when your flat maggot.
My 2cs.

hey? what hot spot?

I guess he means the muffler is a "hot spot" because there is no way that there is any real heat coming through the seat from that system. The only heat i notice comes out the front fairings from the engine room.
do I detect some jealousy?

Yeah just stirring fellas  besides not seeing the tach, only other things i could whinge about was the Hot ankles (could of just been the demo), the ugly underseat zorst n it being too high in the seat for newbies or anyone with shorter legs then mine.
The best 600 built for years i reckon, enjoy & ride safe.

Nah Dave. Just what I was able to pilfer from fawiforums.com. But I can tell you from what I know of my bike and these photos. The Puig is at least 80mm higher than stadard. The OEM screen is almost flat in comparison. When mine arrives, hopefully within a week or so, I will take before and after photos and post them on here.

Look if you are thinking of buying an 05 ZX6R you need to factor in two aftermarket items in the purchase price 1) double bubble & 2) radiator guard. As I have just discovered the 05 has a fragile grill that is easily damaged.

My radiator has two taken two serious hits to the grill from general road use. Both in the same area behind the wheel. It looks like stones are being picked up and thrown in the radiator. Well, one hit has punctured the core. This then leaks coolant and most of it ends up on the front wheel... not a good thing.
With the radiator off and after close inspection it is very obvious that this radiator is extremely thin walled (pursuing light weight bikes I guess) and as I have discovered, is fatally damaged very easily.
I bought a radiator guard on Monday from (http://www.radguard.com.au) for $195 and I even fit some additional aluminum mesh behind it for additional protection (make sure the mesh you add allows plenty of airflow).
I don't know what the radiator costs but I am sure it is more than $195 and if it saves you from overheating and warping your head, crashing from coolant on the wheel, or just being stranded miles from anywhere... it is a tiny investment.
