This one's not so good as the RGV in one way (condition) but better because it's a Kwakka. Excuse the quality of the pics...

KR250A (1984). Get it running first, then see if I want to track it, restore it or just tidy up and ride it around on the road (cheap rego commuter). I already know what Macca wants me to do with it

Kewl
I wouldn't bother tracking it, just fix it up and ride it. A full on resto will probably be a bit exxy with parts availability.
.....and I bags a ride on it when it's going

gave it some gas from the lights to deat traffic 6-13000 revs in seconds and 1 hell of a wheelstand too.
i only wieghed 65 kgs.
great bike. fast too.

The only action has been I bought a battery and the two seals for the fuel tap so it doesn't piss fuel everywhere. Might give it a few more kicks this weekend if I can get the fuel tap not to leak.
It will be road only, cheap rego. sounds good to me and it won't be any slouch scratching through our local roads.

The fuel tap doesn't leak

but there's fuel pissing out of the drain holes in both carbies

, might be time to do some surgery on the carbies me thinks.

Anyone know if a 1984 bike has to have a compliance plate, and if so where I'd find it on a KR250? If it's gotta have one and it doesn't I may have some sort of overseas model and I'll have dramas getting it registered?

It should be on the frame up around the headstock area. I'm pretty certain that they had to have them in 1984, but a quick google hasn't found the exact start date for bikes....it was either in '69 or '77 I think.
