Reflective rim stickers

Postby kevindinho » Thu Jun 17, 2010 11:06 pm

Hi, was thinking of getting some rim stickers has anyone dealt with these people? the stickers look easy to apply. What do you guys think, relflective or just normal?

There are many grades of self adhesive signage vinyl, its funny how this guy does not speceifiy the grade, well neither do most of the stores on ebay esp the china ones, chances are you are getting a real cheep vinyl that might fail after a couple of years. Russ this vinyl is cut preshaped so install is 100% easier for the purchaser.... you get what you pay for .... it takes more material to produce stickers this way hence the cost + reflective is bloody expensive to buy so I could justify the cost of what this guy is asking. Kev do not go reflective, well not if you ever want to take them off..... Reflective generally has a more aggressive adhesive, but the main problem is because it contains glass when you go to take it off it breaks up into small pieces & can cause all sorts of grief.
Kev we can do them at work & I will quite happily match any price you get & cut you up a set just let me know what you want ;) Oh & as far as quality goes if vinyl was rated from 1-5 with 5 being the best, the stock we use would rate a 4 for this application, its either 3M or Avery depending on the colour you want.

You probably won't want em but I've still got some reflective red ones lying around somewhere - never got around to putting them on the red 9 (idea was invisible during the day, visible at night).
You probably want white though...

I've had these stickers on both my bikes and both were reflective, the 9 has black ones on black rims that reflect and white/gold looks good, and the GS500F I had they were red reflective, impressive as well :kuda:
The Rim Stickers are preshaped as well and very easy to put on (with the help of a centre stand or paddock stands)
