What's good about living in Adelaide?

Postby seiko1 » Wed Jun 02, 2010 5:35 pm

I was offered a job today doing what I do now but better money and vastly more oportunities in the future.
I have worked for this guy b4 and he is a great boss who leaves me to my own devices (and vices  )
What are the roadlaws like?
Rental prices etc...?
GOOD and BAD Suburbs more importantly

WINE, that's it great REDS.....................

Well also........................

You can call your mates back in Melbourne, and give them a weather report for the next day, cause it comes a day earlier in Adelaide..........

Their clocks are 30 minutes behind the rest of us............

Rundle Mall is a great place if you can fight...........

There are so many Churches you can go to confession every day at a different Church.......

Oh - Coopers on tap! Really good :D :D

I'd move there fairly quickly if I had the opportunity to - pity it's a bit remote but apart from that I love the place.

My daughter has lived in Adelaide for a couple of years, apart from the occasional upturned police bike at roundabouts she says it's fine. :)

Seriously though when we first started spending some time there I didn't really like it that much, but now I'm used to it it's not bad, pretty quiet compared to Sin City but that's not a bad thing. Carlys boyfriend plays footy for Central Districts so we get to Elizabeth a bit, sort of like Penriff in Sydney, they live at Prospect which is pretty close to the city . Lots of good restaurants, wineries (the Barossa is a shitload closer than I thought), the hills are pretty good for roads and the pubs are pretty cool.
It's really all about standing around drinking Dave's beer.
