1997 Kawasaki ZX7R

Postby mortaygo » Tue May 04, 2010 4:23 pm

I have the chance to buy a 1997 Kawasaki ZX7R which has 126 000km, it is not running and suspect the Junction box is dodgy. The bike is very tidy and has been sitting for some a year, no rego...

Is it worth the effort or not - I can pick it up for a bit less than $2k

Hi There

In my opinion No, but i am just one man and it is only worth what you are willing to pay for it really. If you want it, get it.

I have a 1996 zx9r with a years rego with 90,000 on the clock with full service history and that could be bought for $3000 and it needs nothing at all. Swings and roundabouts.

Good luck if you do get it

Cheers Nick

I'd go for it. but then again i have few of them now. In all seriousness mate, if you don't want it, i'd have a good think about it as i need a new commuter.
It is far better to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even if chequered with failure, than to take rank with those who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, as they live in grey twilight that knows no victory nor defeat.
