After the last ARDC practise day I pulled up with both elbows fairly sore. Thought to myself .... I thought I was going better so maybe I was working a bit harder.....ohhh you poor old fool.
After a week or two it didn't get any better and then my hand started to feel a bit tingly/numb...thought that's a bit weird but it's OK must be related to the elbows...it'll go away.
Went to Phillip Island, elbows/arms felt shit, could manage about two laps and then give up. Come back from PI they're not getting better, in fact they are slightly worse. Finally think stuff it I'll go see a physio and guess what...he reckons pharking tennis elbow, as they used to call it. Apparently now they call it someting else to make it sound less like an old farts problem but I've strained the ligaments in my elbows. No idea how I did it, perhaps unloading the bike from the impossibly difficult front wheel clamp thingo's you get with an easy trailer. Apparently this can take anywhere from two weeks to 6 months to settle down....awesome![]()
Anyone done anything like this and what do you do the get it sorted quicker (no pills either). I've got exercises to do for the next two weeks so hopefully it'll be better by the Chrissy track day.
