CRASHED

Postby Adel » Mon Nov 23, 2009 7:41 am

Some of you might of heard a rider was down at the old rd just before the brooklyn bridge yesterday, yes that was me     but not intirely my fault some jerk off in a tin top decided to cross over the yellow lines and my reaction is to go wider, and the inevitable happened, my front wheel touched a bit of gravel on the edge of the road an dam there I lost control and kept sliding toward the side rail, the bike ended up hittin the rail and I flew off, landed on my side.............. I managed to get up after a little while and was a little sore................ bike is in a mess, my pride stripped off, the adrenalen started wearing off and body started to get sorer, to make a long story short I got the bike home and went and got my self checked ........... 2 broken ribs under the right shoulder blade .............. I thank the lord that it wasnt worse, I guess I could've hit the rail with my body and bike right behind me, Im sure the out come would've been worse

nothing feels worse when you crash and you cant ride for a while
now have to wait and heal

Sorry to bore every one with my story

Hey glad to hear you arnt to bad! Hopefully you heal fast and are back on the bike soon, did the car stop and offer assistance at least?
Well good luck with the recovery!

Shit..that's no good mate. Hope the bikes not too much of a mess, although it is a Yamaha so how bad could it be.... :) :)

At least you got out of it relatively OK.

Sorry to hear about your off but really glad you're mainly ok. Like Rob said the bike can be fixed / replaced but you're still alive to tell the tale.

Hope you get well soon.

Oh my goodness that's horrible you poor thing :( hope your not in to much pain, dam stupid cager, pity you didn't get the number plate. Am glad your injuries aren't critical though, rest up and hope the recovery and the bike fixing up/replacing isn't to to long and drawn out for you sweets.
