Installing Yoshi Slip on

I got my yoshi pipe yesterday, no work today, so I've just taken the stock cannon off and put the yoshi on.

Took out the two allen key screws on the heat shield. Took out the bolt securing the heat shield clamp to the pipe and loosened the hose clamp on the mid pipe to remove the heat shield.
Took out the bolt through the mounting bracket to remove the stock pipe.

Slipped on the yoshi pipe over the mid pipe, tightened the clamp thing in the right position so as the holes for the heat shield were aligned.
Screwed in the allen key screws to attach the heat shield.
Put in the bolt to attach the pipe and mounting bracket to the frame.

Now I'm left with a little rivet looking thing...


It's about 7mm long.

What the hell is it and where should it have gone?

Lol! Yeh, bloody camera phones.

It is metal, I've been riding the bike without it being wherever it is supposed to be and it seems ok. Was waiting for the pipe to fall off or me to pull up somewhere to find its no longer on the bike, but so far so good.

The bike looks trick now and I reckon it sounds sweet. Or at least better than stock.

The best thing about it though is that cars should at least HEAR me now, even if they don't SEE me.

Good on ya , Not going to waste my coin on One. REckon they sound crap, Dont need them to hear me but Just SEE ME is enough, None of them sound good on a 2fidi, a bloke down the road put one on his cbr and i laugh when he goes by.

The thing about a bike, is... you've got to love it. There'll always be someone louder, or faster, or more expensive. Have fun, love your bike, and ride it. Looks good, mate.

I agree entirely, that's how I feel about it. It's your bike, you got to love it. Doesn't matter what other people think about it, you're the one riding it and other people's opinions hold no weight.

I can't wait to put on the screen, clip ons and rear sets. But the rear sets look a little tricky. Don't know if I'll attempt it myself or just get the workshop to do it, same as the clip ons.

No, I can take some if you like. Why you interested? Though I'm not selling it. Going to keep all the stock stuff for when I sell the bike.

The stock can weighs like a case a beer, the carbon fibre yoshi weighs like a bottle of beer.

Should cut ya rear fender off, and get some rim stickers , where do you get the key ring? Anywho sounds like a car
