Yeah, of course you will get improvements by re-jetting on most bikes but when I said 'no need' I was talking about a significant enough change to justify the expense. If you enjoy the tinkering and learning that goes along with personalising your bike, then that's a different story! You do make a valid point and now that I know the direction you're coming from can appreciate what you are trying to achieve a little more. Please don't take what I said the wrong way. I didn't mean to say not to do it, more questioning what you are trying to achieve by doing it. Unfortunately too many noobs get on here asking questions about turning their little piece of shit into a GP spec bike and I wasn't sure if that was what you were after or not.
As for the jet kits. I have a different brand in mine only because they are set up specifically for my bike with pod filters where as the Dynojet kit wasn't, but I would have no problems fitting a Dynojet kit to any bike. They have been around a while and plenty of people have them fitted to their bikes with no issues.
