I've started strenght training for the VIC BMX State Championships. While I'm excercising more, I am also gaining muscle.

This weeks weigh in - 88.6.

I'm hoping to maintain this (or drop a little) for another two weeks, then I will revert to speed training and should see some further weight loss.

Hmm, I forgot about this thread

We started 2 and a bit weeks ago (07/09/09), I was 99 even at day uno, now at 95.4 kgs. Basically a low/no carbs diety thingy we're doing.

Celebrity Slim shakes for breaky and their soup for lunch, then a low/no carbs dinner.

Need to sweat more to loose more.... The system needs another shock to drop some more kgs.

keep up good work all

cheers

Congrats Dave and Cath, and I saw Mike had a good number this week too.

Dave, I seem to be coming at you from the other side - +1.5kg this week for me, 104.7.:(
That's despite doubling my cardio this week (and going lighter on the weights due to time) to try to beat what I thought was a plateau.

Looking at it logically it's probably not so bad - I think I feel and look better, and my measurements haven't changed (except gut going down 1cm, but I'm not sure if I'm consistently measuring yet).
So in theory if my measurements aren't changing but my weight's going up - then it's converting to muscle (?)

But +1.5 is a slap in the face considering my efforts, and I think my 'feelings' must be just my imagination.
Quite depressed and pissed off, and sick of eating healthy with little apparent benefit - going out to have some aporto's chilli chicken...
If you have no fear, you're not going fast enough.
Never argue with an idiot. He'll drag you down to his level, then beat you with experience.

87.4kg. New record. Disappointed I didn't make 86kg this week. So I've decided to hit the beers early tonight... hahaha, gonna be a big one.
