Sure. They're in the pocket of your jeans.
Or they've gone to a better home... But check your jeans pocket first!

I am unable to advise if the tyres let go without warning as I refuse to sully my baby with inferior shoes.
I believe the only tyre for a modern 6 is the Pirelli Corsa 3's. But you need to try as many tyres as you need to, before you too, grasshopper, will discover this for yourself. Try the 2CT''s but don't be surprised if you don't feel at one with your bike. Give them a go, then come into the Corsa 3 fold, my friend.

Yeah, but you're on a postie - you'd ride anything that could keep up up a hill!
And I'm sorry, but once you started blinging the postie, you became a postie rider, not a ZX9 rider on hiatus!

I will reframe your post for you, to form a question. "Can I handle anything other than a ZX9 after riding a postie for so long". Yes, Ty, you can, but you should take it easy and build up slowly. Maybe go to a ZX9 first, then after six months, you can try out a modern ZX6. I have faith in you - you just need to have faith in yourself. And stop riding that postie ya big homo!
