B-Ry wrote:oh that's right... thx for the reminder.. had to post on that. I have no scrape on my body, I scraped through the pants and the jacket so both are destroyed. The part that was really scary is the gloves, I ended up breaking through the material and scraping my hand a little, got me thinking if I was going faster I wouldn't have had and hands left

They were the RST gloves people were talking about some time ago.
Are they the RST pro Winter Gloves???? If they are and they fell apart at 60km/h I'm tossing mine straight in the bin. That was the one concern I had about them.

How are you feeling this morning mate? Gone to the quack yet?
Fortunately if you're claiming on the other guy's insurance instead of your own, you should be able to get cash to replace your gear - and then buy something different next time. I don't like the look of how they busted open at all.

Not all members crashed a Ninja, in fact the first to start the ball rolling may have been on a naked.

Maybe we should start one LOL. There's enough of us! hehe
B-ry, glad to see your gear did its thing, and yeah they are generally one off-> BIN, but I'd be a bit iffy on buying the same gloves again. Same goes for your helmet. Regardless if there's visible damage or not, I'd be inclined to Bin it and start again.

Yea Glen that's the gloves. They did there job in that I still have hands, but they sure as heck wouldn't hold up to much more.
Cath... went to the quack and all is fine, actually felt much better today, still can tell that I came off. I was talking to my insurance company this morning and they said that if the insurance companies decide I was not at fault (should be the case) then I am able to claim the clothes, so here's hoping I can just get them to give me the cash and I will attempt to buy leathers instead.

Usually the Insurance Co. nominate a store for you to go to and they pay the store direct. They tell you the amount you can spend, but you should be able to add a bit of your own cash and upgrade.................
