Recycled - ZX9R

Wed Aug 26, 2009 10:21 am

My first shakedown ride on what was Wardy's 2001 ZX9R, did the Dayboro, Mt Mee, Kilkoy, Somerset and Mt Glorious circuit on Monday. Lovely ride, for me the this bike has the right combination of power, handling and (for a sportsbike) comfort.

Aged wash your mouth out with bourbon  Thers many a nine out there that some modern bikes are lucky to see the tail light in the twisties ;)

That's a great looking bike.
I especially like the colour. :D

I found out the other day that they don't handle 100kmh crosswinds very well though!

Unfortunately just for a month the plan is I will be back for good this time next year, the 9 does have a reputation as an old blokes sports bike...but if the sh@t fits wear it? Age and cunning with out do youth and skill anytime ;)
