from another forum, but i figured i'd throw it in here too.

The last agency seemed a bit surprised when I asked them "I can't understand a fucking word he says, how is he supposed to provide phone support?"

Well to be honest they didn't give me an "official" job spec when this was mentioned, they just said "the same job you do" so i kind of had to wing it. Frankly i think they'd be happy with someone who's got cisco knowledge/a ccna and anything else they know is going to be a bonus.

I also mentioned call manager in that way as well as 1) im no sales rep/recruiter and 2) i know of a couple of guys that muck about with the light versions of call manager at home for the hell of it and figured i might grab the interest of someone like that by mentioning we use it a lot.

As well as that I figured i'd just throw in a list of the other stuff we deal with & see if that gains any interest.

And yeah, im not going to argue about the "wtf did he say?" factor. Thankfully most of the people here are easy to understand.

were still looking for someone, though as i said before, we don't need every skill there. that's more of a taste of the stuff we deal with so more experience is good, but the boss says he's just happy for someone with a ccna and a bit of practical experience.
