Postby Ment » Thu Mar 03, 2005 6:02 pm

Now i dont want to be premature, but Nekkas not around these days so someone has too.

I went up to Bills motorcycles this afternoon to get all angry about the fact that they have had my bike for 3 months now.
When i got there i found them actually working on my bike with an eta of tomorrow arvo, or at the latest monday.

Yee - fucking- HA!!!!!!

cant wait, just cant wait.

Good luck getting anything out of Bill. Hell, I reckon you'd be hard pressed to get a "Sorry" out of him!

Yeah, but im hoping that if i make enough noise in the store, they will try to shut me up with discounted gear.

In the long run this just means Boltons will get my business in the future. As im sure most Adelaide members have already agread is the best policy.

Mate if you want discount from Bills you better ask Jase to borrow his work gun........otherwise all you'll get is a "bout time you got here and picked up this bike!!!"

You can only try... after all the rooting around you'd hope they'd do something for you.

Before you book you bike into Boltons for any work, let me know and I'll take you in and introduce you to Ian, the service manager.

This is getting beyond a joke.

I just rang them to see if it was ready to pick up.
I was informed that the heads back on but not the rocker cover etc so it isnt back together yet. and the guy working on it has gone to a funeral.
then i get told that they will book it in to be finished on the 15th!

what the Fuck is that?

Im going to go have a yell at Bill and there may well be another funeral coming up.

DONT USE BILLS!!!

How the hell do people like that manage to stay in business???

I'd be checking the VIN and engine numbers before I'd be paying/picking up.

Gotta be something dodgy going on...

I would have given them a cease and desist order ages ago and recovered the bike...

I just can't see how someone can spend 3 months on a bike. Sure they might be flat chat, but even if its a major job like a bottom end, you can't tell me its going to take more than a few days when you have all the parts. What really gets up my nose is that these type of people have ZERO business skills. As in, they obviously can't organise didly squat. They have NO skills in work scheduling and planning. But drop kicks like this STAY IN BUSINESS. Go figure.......

Good Advice. Obviously your bike is a low priority n do a bit here n there when things are quiet. There is a guy up here in brisbane that has a rep 4 pulling bikes apart n takin 4ever to put back together.
