Soooo not time for riding you bike now, you'll be maintaining that tank forever now, if we had the patience we would have kept ours they are awesome, I want one in the wall when I buy our dream home oh and a personal tank cleaner and keeper.

What size is that tank, it must be pushing the water restrictions to fill that up.

welll... it is not that big, it is a 4ft system.... Would have preferred a 6ft one... but nowhere to really put it, and got this one at a good price

re water.... I picked up a 1000L IBC.... which I will get a dude to deliver natural sea water to my place.... works out cheaper than making artificial sea water! only $130 for the delivery.....
I could sit and watch it for hours on end! The anemone is awesome when it eats some passing food! The corals are pretty cool.... will be getting more once it all settles down again post the move!

bloody nice setup... and real coral?? fk thats high maintenance....
we currently got a 2ft tank with tropical fish, plants but nothing too hard to manage... just bought a 4ft tank (120x50mm) but gonna take our time to get all the filters, stands etc. b4 we set it up... get some larger fish

Looks good mate.......I should get ours back up and operational....its a big saltwater tank, 5' x 2' x 2'. A bloody whopper.....
you want to get some of those tank-cleaning fish !! They work great....

.... lots of maintenance in a big s/w tank though....

Oooh ... good thread to ask if anybody wants to get into this ... I can provide a 6ft tank, filter and African Cichlids to boot! . ..
Probably over $2000 to set up ... yours for 10% of that!
