downsizing photos

downsizing photos

hey guys, can someone help me here, i have a few pics i was going to post , tell me.... how do i downsize the photo, its about a 2.25mb now, the max i can post is a 2mb, so how do i make it smaller to post.
i am running windows vista if this helps

If the JPEG is on your deaktop do a right click & open with MS Picture manager, go to edit & resize
This will work if you have an older copy of MS office

Still right click & see what options you have with "open with"

Its about the easiest one to use for these purposes ... once its installed, just right click on the image and choose the res ya want ;)

richo, that program u mentioned looks good,but its for windows xp, i've got vista

i just use paint.

Open it in paint go up to adjust and hit on resize.

I have not come across a single application that was designed to run on XP that has not run on Vista (atleast after some tweaking). At absolute worst case scenario it is possible to set the program to run in XP compatability mode.

If that doesn't work. My old man uses Picasa (from Google) and he loves it.
