shrinking leathers....

Postby waynemorgan » Tue Jul 14, 2009 10:42 pm

After riding in textiles for most of the past 3-4 months I went to put the leathers on today for a change...damn I hate it when they shrink....

Anyway - got me thinking....I'm reasonably confident that I'm not the only rider in the world who has clothes "shrink". There are bound to be others....

So my thoughts were with 5 months to xmas perhaps a little bit of "Biggest Loser for KSRC Members" for the next 5 months.

Anyone interested in doing a little weight lose where you post your weeks result - no need for starting weight / ideal weight - just how much you've managed to shed with a grand total mid-december?

Anyone interested? :D :D

I'm in - I put on 7kg since Christmas, but was then planning to lose 3. So I have 10kg to shed. I can't see why we can't put starting weight and percentage lost. Is good motivation to get serious about it.

They shrink?! Was my initial thought till it click, hahaha.

Im looking for some leathers (pants) to go with my jacket, but im waiting for it to warm up a bit. My dilemma, do i get what fits me at the time of purchase (which sounds like a no brainer) or one size up, give a bit of slack for when they shrink (buff up my legs at the gym :kuda: )

Hell, I'm not fussed if my weight doesn't go down, as long as I've replaced the fat with muscle. I might just go on my waist size

Hey Jenny - you don't need to post a starting weight - just how much you've lost for the past week, either kgs or percentage of body weight - whichever suits you mate.

:kuda:

Will start posting losses next week :D

Cool Jenny,

Ok - official weigh in start date is tomorrow - 17th July with weigh in set for Fridays to make it easy to post losses :D

End date - 18th December.

I'm prepared to put up a $100 gift voucher from MCAS or BikeBiz for the person who loses the most in this time (pm me for stores outside NSW so it's fair for everyone).

Good luck and may the best member lose :D
