+ 1 on the rsr2 sharks. Personally the best i have ever owned. Easily the queitest with the best overall internal padding
+1 even though it's the only helmet i've owned, i tried on HEAP of different helmets and it was by far the most comftable and wind noise is very minimal. mine cost me over about $600 from memory.

I destroyed one at oran park just after turn one at a decent speed and after the way it held up considering the off i went straight out bought another.
+ 2...I got a rsr2 Shark because the Shoei was $200 dearer and I didn't have the extra cash at the time......... So glad I got the Shark, very happy

My old Arai worked well in my track off. Not even a headache. I got another Arai, but my normal track helmet's a Shark - not as comfy, but well made and I'd expect it to do the same job.

i would have said ARai, dud they are the best for my head. Went to mca, and tried them all on. only the rjays and arai fitted nice. ended up with the arai vector. very nice indeed

If you after something value for money and no fancy graphics, I recommend Nolan N84 around the $300ish mark, and pretty comfortable... in addition, you've the option to add intercom or stereo speakers in the helmet .. all integrated, no protruding stuff like others.......
I got my N84 , and I luv it...

Interested to know why some of you guys rate nolans with shoei's.... retail considers them a low to mid rating helmet.
just curious, thats all

if i were cynical that might just be because nolan arent as big wankers as shoei or arai... AGV would be the same as nolan id think... u can get a rossi replica for around 800 bux but arai and shoei want over a gorilla for their racer replicas....
if i werent cynical id say thats because of the quality of the helmet is superior... a shoei may last twice as long as a nolan, but most people wouldnt own one long enuff to find out...

Funny that, cause 20 years ago they were cheep & nasty, I would guess that their standards have increased over the years.
